The Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of the most famous buildings in the world. The tower is in Italy. It is now called the Leaning Tower, but is wasn't really supposed to lean.

The leaning Tower was supposed to just be the bell tower for the cathedral in Pisa. But it was not always supposed to lean. Soon after it was built the tower started to lean. The tower used to lean more, but they have fixed it and now the tower only leans a little.

So many people say before the man made a very big mistake he designed a building, but he designed it wrong. this building started to lean so that is why it is called the leaning tower of pisa leans.
