MISSION STATEMENT The members of the Marion Catholic Community, given life through the Holy Spirit in Baptism, are called together as a community of faith to praise and worship God our Creator and to proclaim in word and deed the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. As members of the Body of Christ we strive to serve all to provide an atmosphere of hospitality which enables all to respond fully to the life-long challenge “to do right and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

LENTEN PROGRAM—Sin, guilt, failure, disappointment . . . these are all an unpleasant but universal reality of the human experi-ence. We all have to deal with them, but we can’t do it alone. The remedy is immediately available and miraculously effective—the Sacrament of Reconciliation. This isn’t a rule, a formality, or an

old-fashioned ritual—it’s an intimate experience of God’s mercy. And it has the power not only to cleanse us from sin, but to heal us and transform our lives. Forgiven is a 4 week study, with a 30 minute episode to watch each week. You can do this as a group, family or individually. There will be accompanying discussion guides to use if you wish that help penetrate the beauty and mystery of God’s mercy and the importance of regular confession. In order to access this program, search formed.org then a tab at the top called PROGRAMS and click on the FORGIVEN picture. There is also a video for children on Confession, which is really awesome. This is a free program, please check it

out. Our parish code is 3171a3.
