Music How does music make you feel?
For this lesson you will need to have access to YouTube - please make sure you ask permission from an adult.
Search for music on YouTube Kids or click on the links on this page which will take you directly to the music.
Your Task
Listen to each of the three pieces of music and describe how they make you feel. You might choose to:
Write a description down using the musical vocabulary;
Discuss them with an adult;
Draw a picture, showing how the song makes you feel or what images it creates in your mind.
When you are listening, think about:
Dynamics - is the music loud or quiet?
Tempo - is the music fast or slow?
Pitch - is the music high or low?
Instrumentation - can you name any of the instruments? How many are there?

Drawing texture with pencils
Over the last two weeks you have sketched with some of these different textures.
This week we’d like you to look around your home or garden:
Try to find some different textures.
Try to sketch that texture in a square on your page, like the ones we practised before.
Have a look at the examples below:
Science Skeletons & Bones
This is our last week looking at humans and other animals.
Look at the skeleton of the human body and recap the names of the different bones.
With somebody at home, play a game of ‘Guess which bone?’
Describe its position, what it does, or another bone it is connected to and see if your partner can guess which bone it is. Then swap over and see if you can guess which bone they are describing.
E.g.
Skull (cranium)
Shoulder bone (Scapula)
Humerus
Pelvis
Femur
Sternum
Rib cage
Spine
Tibula & Fibula
This is a group of bones that wrap around my body and protect my lungs and heart.
Answer: Rib Cage!
Let’s Keep active!
1. If you are enjoying the Joe Wicks workouts then keep going with them everyday at 9am on his YouTube channel.
2. If you fancy something different, or a bit less intense (!), you could try these Disney Shake up games from the NHS website:
