Therefore the integration of wind energy raises many challenges
• Technical challenges: Reaction of wind farms to dip voltages: contribution to grid stability. Voltage control: Transient and Steady State Short-circuit power Inertia
• System Operation challenges: Wind production program: effects on the deviations and use of
ancillary services: Primary Regulation Coordinated operation of the systems

Conclusions
The collaboration between the Spanish wind sector and the TSO has proved to be most fruitful and fundamental towards guaranteeing the integration of wind energy in the power demand supply.
Both have learnt from the experience to overcome prejudices and to find practical and realistic solutions.
One of the consequences is that in Spain advanced technical solutions and many FACTS manufactures can be found.
The progressive growth of wind energy, reaching around 50% of the demand in some moments, will raise new challenges which will not be easy to resolve, but we are always working in a constructive way.
A GOOD REFERENCE FOR OTHER COUNTRIES: WORKING
TOGETHER IS THE BEST OPTION TO FIND EFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS
