European investment in digital infrastructure is having a positive impact on attracting TMT companies. Europe (EU27) currently has the biggest broadband market in the world with 128.3 million lines and through strong government support, prices for broadband and ICT are becoming more cost effective with a drop in prices for broadband by about 52% in the last two years. Through these investments, we have seen the emergence of several leading IT clusters indicated on the map below.
