TheDiplomainLiberalStudiesconsistsof45creditsawardedbyRegisUniversityandisagatewaytoAssociate’sandBachelor’sdegreeswithpartneruniversities;theprofessionalcertificatesareblendedlearningcourseswhosetopicsarerelevanttoandrequestedbythecommunitiesJWLserves;theGlobalEnglishLanguageprogramisasteppingstonetotheDiplomaandotherofferings.

JWLcurrentlyhaslearningcentersin14countriesacross3continents,servingthosewhohavebeenmarginalizedduetopoverty,lackofopportunity,location,conflictorforceddisplacement.

Why is this work important?Educationisakeyinstrumentandindicatorofdevelopment,economicgrowth,peace,andthefoundationforbuildingopensocieties.JWLcontributestotheadvancementoftheUnitedNationsSustainableDevelopmentGoals(SDGs),reachingstudentsintheareaswiththelowestlevelsofhumandevelopment.Therearecurrently70.8millionforciblydisplacedpeopleintheworld(UNHCR,2018)andlessthan1%oftheworld’srefugeeshaveaccesstohighereducation(UNHCR,2016).
