a presentation is canceled due to low
enrollments or instructor illness and we will

Please remember to bring your blue Department
of Parks and Recreation swipe pass when you
come to Lee 55+ Center and check in at the front
desk. If you need a new one, we are happy to
obtain one for you. Please note that this applies
to ALL PARTICIPANTS who attend or participate
in any programs at Lee.

PIE WITH THE PRESIDENTS Join us for a lighthearted but reverential salute to our nation’s presidents, complete with Presidents’ Day-themed games, trivia and snacks, including cherry pie in honor of George Washington. IT TAKES A THIEF: THE CONTINUING SAGA Art historian Joan Hart will present an update on the never-ending saga of stolen art. She will discuss the status of the Isabella Stewart Gardner heist and whether authorities are any closer to locating the priceless Vermeer and other works, taken almost 30 years ago. She will also cover how the Van Gogh Museum finally recovered two treasured works by the iconic artist that were missing since 2002. The fate of the Gurlitt Collection, some 1,500 major art works looted by the Nazis in WWII, will also be the subject of this presentation. Thurs., Feb. 13, 1:30-3pm
