STRATEGY AND STRUCTURE PLANT OPERATIONS ADMINSTRATION includes labor relat ions, business planning and
strategy, operat ional and administrat ive services, market ing and communicat ions.
FACIL IT IES MANAGEMENT is Plant Operat ions largest serv ice unit and includes the fol lowing: ADMINISTRATION SERVICES Manages programs support uni ts includes, Faci l i t ies Service Center, Bui ld ing Coordinator Program, FAMIS work management system and capita l planning support, Employee Programs, Business Planning, Asset Management & Procurement.
AUXIL IARY FACIL IT IES SERVICES Provides contract, bi l lable and general trades, maintenance and custodial serv ices to auxi l iary areas on campus.CENTRAL FACIL IT IES SERVICES Provides auto, f leet, lock and key services, pest control and emergency operat ions service response. Provides landscape master planning, grounds and f ie ld maintenance, sol id waste and recycl ing, parking garage and lot maintenance, moves and event labor serv ices.
CENTRAL PLANTS & MECHANICAL Provides campus services for HVAC, bui ld ing automat ion, mechanical, central plant operat ions, energy services and sustainabi l i ty.
TECHNICAL SERVICES Provides level two support serv ices including electr ical , e levator and f i re alarm.
ZONE MAINTENANCE Provides level one maintenance repairs, preventat ive maintenance and custodial serv ices.
INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING Provides infrastructure capita l planning, technical reviews and civ i l projects management.
DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND PROJECT DELIVERY FACIL IT IES PLANNING AND CONSTRUCTION (FPC) Oversees major (over $4M) campus design, construct ion and renovat ion projects, technical support serv ices and bui ld ing design standards.
PROJECT CONTROLS & INSPECTIONS Provides qual i ty assurance ver i f icat ion and compl iance of construct ion and renovat ion projects on campus.
MINOR & PLANNED PROJECTS Oversees minor construct ion and renovat ion projects under $4M.
MINOR IN HOUSE CONSTRUCTION (MIC) Performs minor campus construct ion and renovat ion projects.
PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENTPLANNING AND FACIL IT IES INFORMATION Supports the universi ty’s planning, property management needs, capita l , master, space and renewal deferred maintenance planning.
BUSINESS SERVICESBUSINESS SERVICES Supports f inancial , purchasing and contract ing needs for Plant Operat ions units, human resources and employee relat ions.
SAFETYENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND L IFE SAFETY (EHLS) Serves the universi ty’s occupat ional and environmental health and safety, radiat ion and bio logical safety as wel l as Fire Marshal ’s Off ice.
R ISK MANAGEMENT (RM) Provides coordinat ion of worker’s compensat ion cla ims, purchases needing property/casualty insurance for universi ty operat ions and coordinat ion of cla im recovery for insured losses.

Imag ine an empty c lassroom or o f f i ce w i th no fu rn i tu re , o f f i ce mach ines , labora tory equ ipment or o ther added features – the cos t o f ma in ta in ing th is space is covered by M&O funds .
