M/s. Nectar Crop Sciences Pvt. Ltd. (formerly known as Hyderabad Chemicals Products
Ltd.) located in Notified Industrial area of Pashamylaram at Plot No. Plot No.s 54 to 56, 58
to 61, Phase II IDA, Pashamylaram, Patancheru Mandal, Sangareddy District, Telangana
obtained consent and authorization (CFO) for manufacturing of 70 TPM of vide Letter No.
TSPCB/RCP/SR-I/11597/CFO/HO/2015-2743 dated 24.02.2016. It is proposed to increase
the manufacturing capacity of agro chemicals from 2.33 TPD to 9 TPD, formulations 16.67
KLM to 80 KLM and proposed R&D and Pilot plant of capacity 100 kg/day in existing site
area of 5.31 acres. Capacity before and after expansion is presented in Table A-1.

Process Description:
2-chloro-5-chloromethyl pyridine (CCMP) reacts with N-Nitroiminoimidazoline (NII) in
presence of a solvent Dimethylformamide (DMF) to get Imidacloprid. The reaction
medium is neutralized with potassium carbonate. DMF is recovered by distillation and to
the residue water is added and filtered to obtain the product as wet cake. The product is
dried and packed.. The process flow diagram is presented in Fig A.3 and material balance is
presented in Table A.3.

ANNEXURE – II: Wastewater Treatment Facilities
The main sources of effluent generation from the plant are from process, floor washings,
blowing downs from boiler and cooling tower, and domestic effluents. The effluents
generated in the process, separation techniques and during purification contain organic
residues of raw materials, solvents, and products. Some of the raw materials used in the
process are also inorganic in nature. Hence the effluents contain both organics and in-

ANNEXURE – III: Water Balance
Water is required for process, scrubbers, washing, cooling tower makeup, steam
generation and domestic purposes. The required water shall be drawn from TSIIC
(Industrial Supply) in addition to reuse of treated wastewater. The total water
requirement increased from 25 KLD to 242 KLD after expansion out of which 187 KLD
shall be met from TSIIC (Industrial supply) and the balance 55 KLD shall be recycled
water. Total water balance after expansion is presented in Table A-5.

ANNEXURE – IV: Solid Waste
Solid wastes are generated from the process shall be sent to TSDF/ Cement Industries for Co-
incineration. The inorganic residue, evaporation salts from MEE and ATFD and ETP Sludge
shall be sent to TSDF. Total solid waste generated and mode of disposal is presented in Table
A-6.

ANNEXURE – V: Stack Emissions Details
The sources of air pollution from the plant are existing 5 TPH and 1.5 TPH Coal fired
boiler and DG set of 2 x 225 KVA, 1 x 600 KVA and 1 x 125 KVA capacity. The required
steam for process and ZLD system shall be met from exisitng 5 TPH and 1.5 TPH coal fired
boiler, while 1 x3 TPH coal fired boiler will be kept as standby. Bag filter is provided for 5
TPH coal fired boiler and multicone cyclone separator for 1.5 TPH coal fired boiler as air
pollution control equipment. It is proposed to establish 6 lac k.cal/hr coal fired and 2 lac
k.cal/hr HSD fired thermic fluid heater for proposed expansion. Muticone cyclone
separators will be provided as APC for coal fired thermic fluid heater. DG set provided
with stack heights based on the CPCB formula for effective stack height.
