Using Klinck Memorial Library Databases
A step by step guide
Access the Klinck Memorial Library website: www.cuchicago.edu/academics/library/. Here you will find three convenient links that provide access to databases. EBSCO Gateway delivers a wide selection of databases. ProQuest Gateway provides access to ebooks and databases. WorldCat Discovery serves as a portal to handy library links, including library catalogs and databases. You can also access a wider selection by simply choosing the DATABASES column.
The Alphabetized List reflects the current database subscriptions. For
your convenience, these resources are also arranged by particular
subject categories. Simply click on a heading to open the list. To begin,
select Academic Search Complete to conduct a search for journal
articles.
If you are off campus, an authentication page will appear. Enter your
Concordia username and password and click LOGIN to proceed.

Carry out a basic search with the help of the EBSCO Gateway combining
two terms: Shakespeare and history. Limit your results by selecting Full
Text and Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals. Click Search.
Each record will include a citation, list of subjects, and a link to the full
text. To access an abstract or short summary, click on the title of the
article.
In addition to displaying the article on-screen, The EBSCO Gateway
offers tools enabling you to print, e-mail, save, cite, and export your
search results.
