California Filtration Specialists utilized the flexibility of theR-Tank Modules at Ventana at El Corazon. R-Tanks aremodular which allows designers to create decentralizedsystems. With these systems in place, this property retainsall stormwater on site and eliminates the need for a stormdrain system. After a rain event fills the R-Tank,stormwater can flow into the drainage system, infiltrate intothe ground, or be reused. The system is an alternative tostormwater basins and a more efficient, space savingalternative to other underground systems for detention,infiltration, and recycling stormwater. Basile constructionassembled 1,012 R-Tanks in less than week. Engineerswere able to avoid existing utilities as a result of using R-Tank.
