O Gurudeva! I offer my humble pranams from my inner heart. With the torch light of divine knowledge you open my eyes blinded by darkness of ignorance.
What is Srimad Bhagavatam?
• Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu once said: “ If all the other holy books were burned and only Srimad Baghavatam remained, we haven’t lost anything at all..”.
Facts about Srimad Bhagavatam
• Srimad Baghvatam is the Maha Purana that focuses in Bhakti onto the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna• It was written by Veda Vyasa in his most
matured stage, who was a disciple of the great sage Narada Muni• Srimad Baghvatam can be compared to a
fully ripened nectarian fruit, without even the skin and seed • When once develops taste to Srimad
Bhagavatam, no other scripture will be tasteful for him
The Most Sweet Nectarian Fruit
nigama-kalpa-taror galitam´ phalam´suka-mukhad amrita-drava-sam´yutampibata bhagavatam´ rasam alayam´Muhur aho rasika bhuvi bhavukah? – S.B. 1.1.3
O expert and thoughtful men, relish Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, the mature fruit of the desire tree of Vedic literatures. It emanated from the lips of Śrī ŚukadevaGosvāmī. Therefore this fruit has become even more tasteful, although its nectarean juice was already relishable for all, including liberated souls

Vadanti tat tattva-vidasTattvam yaj jnanam advayamBrahmeti ParamatmetiBhagavan iti sabdyate .. (S.B 1.2.11)
• Learned transcendentalists who know the Absolute Truth call this nondual substance Brahman, Paramatma and Bhagavan.
Brahman, Paramatma, Bhagavan• Brahman - This is the impersonal part of the Supreme
Lord. This is simply the glowing effulgence of the Personality of Godhead. Brahman is realized by students of the Upanishads• Paramatma- This is the partial representation of the
Supreme Lord. It is recognized by Hiranyagarbhas or yogis.• Bhagavan- Is the supreme form of the absolute truth.
Bhagavan is realized by the perfect seers of Absolute Truth – only His Bhaktas!.
Krishna is the Real Supreme
Ete cāmśa-kalāh pumsahKrsnas tu bhagavān svayamIndrāri-vyākulam lokamMrdayanti yuge yuge .. (S.B 1.3.28)
All of the above-mentioned (Vishnu, Narayana, etc. ) incarnations are either plenary portions or portions of the plenary portions of the Lord, but Lord Śrī Krsna is the original Personality of Godhead. All of them appear on planets whenever there is a disturbance created by the atheists. The Lord incarnates to protect the theists.
Main Points• Lord Sri Krishna is the original Supreme Personality of
Godhead• Lord’s incarnations are complete potions or portions of
these whole portions.• Whenever the atheists cause trouble, the incarnations
appear.• The Supreme Lord incarnates to protect the pious
people
Conclusion from those Slokas• Srimad Baghvatam says that the Lords three forms:
(Brahman, Paramatma, and Bhagavan) • It says that Lord Krishna is the Supreme from whom all
the other forms appear• The Lords incarnations come down to Earth to protect
the theists when adharma arises• Srimad Baghvatam is the most important of all the
scripture.
