Being a volunteer is a great way to meet new people, to be active in your community and to have some fun! It’s also an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience, to learn new skills and to complete your mandatory high school community service hours.
Richmond Hill is always looking for eager and enthusiastic volunteers to assist with community programs and events.

Volunteer Program
Volunteer Orientation SessionsThere is no cost for this session; however, participants must pre-register. Registration can be done online at RichmondHill.ca/ActiveRH, or in person at any community centre. Upon successful completion of the three steps outlined below, volunteers will have an opportunity to assist the Community Services Department in a number of programs and events throughout the year.
Volunteer in Three Easy Steps1. Register for and attend one of the Volunteer Orientation Sessions below.2. Visit RichmondHill.ca/Volunteers and build your volunteer profile using the online Volunteer Application Form
and complete the required forms.3. Complete online Accessible Customer Service Training (AODA).
