• To ensure your child is taught at the appropriate level.

• To provide you with information about your child’s progress.

Key Stage One Assessment• Levels will be determined by teacher

assessment and your child’s work throughout the year.

• This assessment will be confirmed by tasks or tests during the month of May.

• A level will be given for speaking and listening, reading, writing, mathematics and science.

• Reading, writing and mathematics will be divided into A,B,C for Level 2.

• Speaking and listening and science assessment purely by teacher assessment.
