Are you ready for Thanksgiving?! With one trimester down and two more to go, we sure are! In this issue, we’ve included lots of Thanksgiving themed games and puzzles, as well as tips for staying entertained over the break, what to wear to the holiday dinner, and how to get through Thanksgiving a little more easily this time around. Since we are at school, we also decided to include a short informative article about the history of Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving/Fall D.I.Y.’s by Samaria Ortiz and Kayla Arellano *Need something to do over the Thanksgiving break? Here are some good D.I.Y.’s for decorating your room: 1. A message chalkboard can be decorative and purposeful- Use it to write messages to yourself or reminders.2. Golden pumpkins can be used as sparkly knick-knacks -Buy the pumpkins at a drugstore or holiday store and spray paint them gold to make them sparkly. 3. Framed leaves/Fall candles-Grab a picture frame and insert a fake leaf to make it more festive -Light up fall candles and put them on all sides of your room. Don’t leave them unattended!4. Polaroid/Pictures -Take pictures of Thanksgiving or fall related things and post them up around your room 5.
