WET and DRY RUBBING FASTNESS
As result of search about wet and dry rubbing fastness, we make the comments
below:
The condition of wet and dry rubbing fastness for the dyed textiles suitable with
DIN 54021 for ECO-Tex standards is 2/3-3/4. We are completely aware of these
results can not be possible every time especially for dark and black shades. Even if
there is high technology recently, it is too difficult to achieve this level. The dyes
used this dyeing are especially applied on fabric originated from cellulose without
consideration of kind of dyes.
Fiber destroy of products made from non cellulose and knitted or woven fabric is
not related to dyeing stuff also depends on dyeing process and materials.
It is clearly seen from our microscope evaluation.
DIN rubbing fastness results because of mechanical pressure through test have
more indepence than wet rubbing fastness results on the fiber. Due to that DIN
54021 rubbing fastness conditions are not especially applicable here.
The information evaluations above are agreed by other main dye
producers/technical institutes.
We hope this help you and our permanent.
Best Regards
