Setting the scene • WBCCG

– aims to commission the delivery of better and more responsive health services and improve the health of local people in the area.

– holds the NHS budget for our local population of approximately 310,000 people.

– going through a period of transition

– need to create lasting legacy within the new establishing bodies

Employee Demographics • 201.19 WTE

• Approx 29% of employees are aged 35 and under

• Approx 23% of employees are aged 51 and over

• Over 72% of employees are women

• 25.41% of employees work less than full time hours

Staff wellbeing survey results summary

• 49 % response rate• 87.7 % rate their health as ‘very good’ or ‘good’• 83.7 % said if they noticed anything unusual

about their own body which had latest for 3 weeks they would contact their GP

• 6.1 % smoke daily, 3.1 % smoke occasionally• 25.5% have an alcoholic drink 3+ days a week• 22.4 % staff have done a total of 30 mins of

Physical Activity 5+ days a week
