◦ April 2020 – RCPS Advertised for a Request of Qualifications from Potential Design/Build Teams
◦ May 2020 – RCPS Received (9) Responses for the RFQ. RCPS had a (5) Person Review Team Evaluate the Responses.
◦ June 2020 – RCPS Invited (4) Design/Build Teams the Opportunity to Submit Proposals (RFP’s)
◦ July 2020 – Site Meetings, Scope Clarifications, Issuance of Addendums
◦ August 2020 – RFP’s Submitted. (7) Person Review Team Evaluated and Scored Technical Proposals
◦ September 2020 – (7) Person Review Team Met, Interviewed & Evaluated Design/Build Teams
◦ Technical proposals were scored and ranked.
◦ Sealed Financial Proposals were opened, scored and ranked.
◦ Highest Ranked Design/Build Team was interviewed to ensure that the entire scope as was identified in the RFP was included in pricing.
◦ October 2020 – Contract Review from RCPS and Design/Build Team Attorneys
◦ November 2020 – Contract Award

Scope of Work Goal: Create space to build senior and school spirit
• Replace free standing display cases with built-in units
along corridor, including additional space for future
achievements
• Re-locate Hall of Fame to Second Floor Corridor to
replace lockers
• Create “selfie” platform and balcony for fun
• Fresh façade facing the main driveway
• New portico and outdoor covered dining space
• New stairs and handicap ramp
• Enlarge toilet rooms to serve auditorium and gymnasium

• Open spaces for flexible usage, defined by furnishings, floor finishes and ceiling bulkheads
• Book stacks at perimeter
• Portions of structural walls
retained for economy and ease of construction

• Two non-gendered toilets
• Ceiling bulkhead in school color for visual interest
