Policemen Confiscate 400 Tablets
Torrance police discovered more than 400 double-scored white tablets which appeared to be benzedrine Tuesday night when they stopped to investigate a car parked in front of an alleyway in the 1700 block of Andreo Street
The car's driver, John Theodore Hovis, 34, of 22616 Plaza del Amo, was booked on charges of possession for sale of dangerous drugs. The tablets were stashed in vari- oui parts of the vehicle.
