- Theme/Prompt:Think about an important event in your life, then write about it from the perspective of someone in your family, a friend, a teacher, or a character from a movie.

- Theme/Prompt:Write about a time when you suffered emotionally or physically. Be descriptive and try to make the reader feel the pain or sadness that you felt.

- Theme/Prompt:Choose a type of animal, or inanimate object, and create a story from this perspective. Describe the setting, who do you “hang out” with, are there conflicts, etc.

- Theme/Prompt:Rewrite a scene or a chapter in The Giver. If you’ve finished the book, you can even rewrite the ending.
