THE SIMPLE PRESENT OR PRESENT SIMPLE IS ONE OF
THE VERB FORMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PRESENT
TENSE IN MODERN ENGLISH. IT IS COMMONLY REFERRED
TO AS A TENSE, ALTHOUGH IT ALSO ENCODES CERTAIN
INFORMATION ABOUT ASPECT IN ADDITION TO PRESENT
TIME.
Present simple

Sujeto + verbo auxiliar (to do)- DOES + auxiliar negativo (“not”) + verbo
1) I do not [don’t] talk. (Yo no hablo.)

SIMPLE PAST
The simple past is used to talk about a completed action in a time before now. Duration is not important. The time of the action can be in the recent
past or the distant past.
the Present Continuous with Normal Verbs to express the idea that something is happening now, at this very moment. It can also be used to show that something is not happening now.
PAST CONTINUOUS TO INDICATE THAT A LONGER ACTION IN THE PAST WAS
INTERRUPTED. THE INTERRUPTION IS USUALLY A SHORTER ACTION IN THE SIMPLE
PAST. REMEMBER THIS CAN BE A REAL INTERRUPTION OR JUST AN INTERRUPTION
IN TIME
