The Waystation is
COTS’ year-round
overnight shelter for
single adults. We
have 36 beds for
adults who are
experiencing
homelessness.

daytime center for
adults experiencing
homelessness to
connect with housing
& resources. The
program also offers a
noontime meal,
laundry & shower
facilities.

SERVEFAMILIES?
We have can host
15 families each night
between our two Family
Shelters. Families can
stay with us for up to 6
months, and during time
in shelter, we assist
with access to child
care, health care, and
employment.

HOUSINGRESOURCE
CENTER?
The COTS HRC helps
prevent homelessness
from happening in the
first place by providing
financial assistance in
areas such as short
term subsidies, rental
arrears, security
deposits, and much
more.

WHEN WAS COTS FOUNDED?
COTS was founded in
the fall of 1982 by a
group of concerned
citizens who noticed
men sleeping in City Hall
Park. That Christmas
Eve, COTS opened its
doors at night in space
borrowed from the Sara
Holbrook Community
Center.
