Treasure Trunk Theatre Adventures: The Center is proud to bring this newest adventure in creative movement for our members every Friday. Through the theatrical arts, children will learn to use their bodies, voices, and imaginations to express themselves and be connected with the world around them. Fridays in the Activity Room
MY Move, MY Tumble Tots and MY Muscles: Our Classic Manhattan Youth movement classes: Muscle Tuesdays, Move Wednesdays and Tumble Tot Thursdays give your children introductions to coordination, strength building and flexibility all morning long! Swim for Children and FamiliesFamily Swim: Everyone in the pool for open swim and play! Every day at the center
Bubble Babies/Water Otters: These intros to swim for babies aged 6 – 18 months (Bubble Babies) and 18 months – 2.5 years (Water Otters) are musical, fun, splashy, and comfortable (our pool is a warm 88 degrees). Swim and Fitness for AdultsPRONatal Fitness: Pre and post natal fitness class for expecting and new moms. This 1-hour total body workout incorporates modifiable cardio conditioning, strength training, and proper core training—all designed for the specific needs of expecting and new mothers' bodies. This class is modifiable for all fitness levels and stages of pregnancy and motherhood. Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:30 pm
Glide Fit for Grownups: Part yoga, part pilates, part pool party, our Glide Fit classes for grown-ups use the pool, floating platforms, and tons of core work for a full body workout that’s as fun as it is effective. Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays

Adventure and LearningAnimal Hour: Our Science Lab has a secret; it’s the home to Manhattan Youth’s Animals! In Animal Hour, kids can see, hold, feed and learn about our resident turtle, fish and bearded dragons with our staff. Mondays and Fridays, 11:00 am in the Science Room
Extended Animal Hour: Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Storytime with Camille: Sit with your friends for storytime with Camille Diamond, Deputy Director of the Community Center. Join us for an imagination journey with every book, and stay for coffee and conversation after the reading. 10:00 am daily in the Great Hall
Open Studio: All Ages (3rd grade and under must be accompanied by an adult) Turn screen-time into productive, creative time. Members are invited to take full advantage of our computer lab every Saturday. Work on a project or learn something new. Saturdays, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Open Play and EntertainmentGreat Hall: Our Great Hall is open daily for kids, parents and caregivers to spend time together. With seating, play space and microwave available, families are encouraged to bring snacks and interact with old and new friends. On the weekends, the Great Hall is home to Pottery Painting, Drop-in Art, and Saturday Family Movie Night. All day, everyday
MY Clubhouse: Full of toys, climbing structures, books, and helpful staff, the clubhouse is a wonderful cozy place to spend time moving, learning and making friends in an open setting. Weekdays, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm Weekends, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm

Family Movie Night: Bring your family every Saturday at 3:30 pm for a family friendly movie just for our members. We’ll provide the popcorn! The last Saturday of each month, we’ll show a movie based on a book that you can choose to read before you see the movie with us. Every Saturday, 3:30 pm
Friday Nights: Our signature tween and teen program at the Community Center! Let your kids aged 1st – 8th grades spread their wings a bit on a Friday night. They’ll have a great time doing activities like ceramics, sports, cooking and art, while you get a night out. Or at least a night off! Every Friday evening, 6:00 – 9:00 pm during the school year (with the exception of school holiday weekends). Members pay just $5 drop in fee per child, per Friday Night.

Adult Ceramics at the CenterPottery Wheel and Handbuilding Clay Sessions:For those interested in a comprehensive exploration in clay. Learn skills and techniques from beginning to end of the process, whether you want to make functional ware or sculpture. Work on the pottery wheel, handbuild or try both techniques. This class also explores the different possibilities with glazing and decorating your ware for a beautiful finished product. Enrolled students have access to open studio during the week and weekend, a great time to work on your own and hone your skills. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, 8 sessions, 6:30 – 9:00 pm, Thursday mornings, 8 sessions, 10:00 am – 12:30 pmRegistration required.
Introductory Adult Handbuilding Workshops: In our fully equipped ceramic studio (pottery wheels, kilns, clay extruder, slab roller and lots of clay), you will be instructed by our professional ceramic artists and learn many of the hand-building skills that are needed to make all kinds of functional and sculptural works of art. If you want to keep your work you can glaze your ware (during the session) and for $15 we will fire it in our kiln.
At the end of the class you can take a spin on the pottery wheel. Just be prepared to get dirty!Tuesday evenings, 6:30 – 9:00 pm or Sunday afternoons, 12:00 – 2:30 pmMembers: $30, Non-members: $60 Registration required.

Drop-In Classes
Pool Pals: Pool Pals is a great way to introduce your child to the pool in a fun and supportive one-on-one session—while making sure you stay dry! Pool Pals sessions are not swim lessons—they are unstructured play times during which our swim staff provides support, supervision, and interaction for your child, while they have fun in the water. $100 for a 3-pack of 30-minute sessions (currently available during morning Family Swim, Monday – Friday). Mommy/Daddy and Me Ceramics: You and your child, 2 – 4 years old can drop-in to our ceramics studio and work with an instructor who will take you through the process of making your own masterpiece! All work is non-toxic and food-safe. Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00 – 10:45 am and 11:00 – 11:45 am (2 – 4 years), $10 drop-in fee
Family Clay Day: Spend an hour anytime from 12:00 – 3:00 pm with your whole family on Saturday afternoons. You can be led through a project or simply work on your own handbuilding project with access to our full ceramics studio. All pieces will remain in the studio to be fired and will be ready for pick up within two weeks time. All work is non-toxic and food-safe. Saturdays, 12:00 – 3:00 pm $25 drop-in fee for a family of four
Pottery Painting: Come on in and paint any pottery you like, assisted by our friendly and professional staff. Just pay for what you make! The artwork will then be fired in our studio for a later pick up. Sundays, 12:00 – 4:00 pm, pay for what you make
Art with Baille: Join us for an imaginative drop-in art class every Friday. A wonderful way to wrap up a magical week at the center. Fridays, 10:00 am (2 – 4 Years), and 11:00 am (18 – 23 Months), $10 drop-in fee
Music and Singalongs with Andrew Aprille: A multi-lingual, music-filled class perfect for those who want a specialized class without a weekly commitment. Thursdays, 10:15 am and 11:15 am, $10 drop in fee

Coding in Minecraft: for 2nd – 5th grade students Don't just play Minecraft, MAKE IT.
