2013 NATIONAL INTENSIVE LEADERSHIP CAMP

To : Schools Division Superintendents Officers-in-Charge of Regular and Interim Divisions

1. The Saceda Youth Lead and its significant partners will hold the 2013 National Intensive Leadership Camp in three (3) major areas to be able to reach out to more young people and teachers on the dates and venues specified below: See also the enclosed documents for further information.

2. The said 8-day intensive leadership training will hone the particpants' talents, skills, and values that will help them make purposeful changes for themselves, the Family, the Community,

and the county.

3. Participants are Emerging Leaders-Student and Youth Leaders, Teachers, NGO workers, SK Leaders, and other Leadership Practitioners.

4. Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the non-disruption of classes policy as stipulated in DepED order No. 9, 5. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.

5. Teacher participants will earn 9 units in MA and Doctoral program with our partner institutions.

OBJECTIVES

1. To hone the intelligences, skills and values of student leaders as they are groom to become future leaders of the family, community and nation.

2. To expose students to other peoples'culture through leadership and social action;

3. To study common patterns that emerge across all cultures and how these patterns reveal the diversity of human experience in leadership and social action.

PARTICIPANTS:

Participants are student leaders enrolledfrom Grades 5-6 (elementary division), first-fourth year high school and college students, teachers preferably handling student government organizations, leadership practitioners. SK Leaders and NGO workers.

REGISTRATION FEES

Registration fees for Student and Teacher Participants is Six Thousand Pesos Only (Phpb, 000) will cover food and accommodation (basic dorm set up) for 8 days, uniform, camp kits, certificates, full day leadership programs and other related expenses.

Registration for teacher participants who are interested to obtain a 9 unit Masters in Education and Doctor in Education Program is Fifteen Thousand Pesos Only (Php 15,000) will cover food and accommodation for 8 days, uniform T-shirt, camp kits, certificates, full day leadership programs, matriculation at our partner university and conferral of 9 units of Masters in Education and Doctor of Education and other related expenses.

VENUE

The venue of the 2013 Intensive Leadership Camp are the following.

April 8-15, 2013 Dole Philippines School, Polomolo& South Cotabato April 19-26, 2013 SYL Center, Dumaguele City, Negros Oriental May 1-8,2013 Dep Ed Tuguegurao City, Cagayan Valley

The camp embraces a basic accommodation and set up; delegates must be flexible in this training. All participants will be sleeping on the floors with cushions. Please provide your own blankets. Please bring comfortable clothing, swimsuits, formal attire for the closinjzpcqp_ram preferably Barong and Gowns, swimming goggles. Participants will be cooking their meals as a group as well.

The 2013 Intensive Leadership Camp of Saceda Youth Lead is composed offacilitators and Staff who are all trained in paramedics and emergency and there are standby physicians as well.

SPEAKERS and FACILITATORS

Very Competent Speakers are invitedfor each of the phases of the training. The Facilitators are student leaders coming from Saceda Youth Lead. Each facilitator will handle a group of 15 campers only. All facilitators are trained to handle and take care of the groups.
