Dr. Gary J. Becker Young Investigator AwardThe SCVIR is proud to announce Stephen T. Kee, M.D. at Stanford University School of Medicine as the winner of the1999 Dr. Gary J. Becker Young Investigator Award. His manuscript "MR-Guided Transjugular Porto-Systemic ShuntPlacement in a Swine Model" was chosen as the work best fitting the ideal of promoting academic research amongyoung interventional radiologists. Dr. Kee will receive an all-expense paid trip to the 1999 annual meeting in Orlando,Florida, a plaque, and an honorarium. Dr. Kee will present his paper during the New Techniques 2 Session onThursday, March 25, at 9:00 AM.
