DRACHENKO PETR GERASIMOVICH

DRACHENKO PETR GERASIMOVICH (born in 1913, Alekseevka) Honoured Artist of Ukraine. He studied at Odessa Art School in the 1920s, at Odessa Art Institute from 1930 to 1934 and at Kiev Art Institute from 1934 to 1940. Active in Kiev, Ukraine. He participated in republican, All-Union and foreign exhibitions since 1939. One-man shows were held in Odessa in 1972 and in Kiev in 1973. Since 1950 he has been a member of the Union of Artists. The works of P. Drachenko are at the Odessa Museum of Fine Arts and also in private collections in the USA, Japan, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland and Brazil.
