Location change • Due to restrictions of the previous location (Westfield Shopping Centre) we had to come

up with a new place to film.

• Also after watching back draft 2 and receiving feedback, we realised that a shopping centre doesn’t communicate anything about social media.

• Therefore we came to the conclusions that somewhere neutral would be best as it wouldn’t be distracting nor disorientate the audience.

- We decided our new location would be a park.

- However some of the presenter shots will be filmed at a library to emphasise the social media side of the topic.

• By having two locations this makes for a more interesting watch.

• Where the park lacks representation of social media, the library will reinforce it.

Why we chose this location

• New Locations: ‘Hammersmith Park’ and ‘school library’.

• We don’t want a location that distracts or disorientates the audience from the topic or what the presenter is talking about.

• Therefore, we figured a park represents neutral territory and doesn’t symbolize anything specific.

• Also, the scenery in ‘Hammersmith park’ is very beautiful which will make for nice establishing shots.

• Useful for the presenter to walk down while the camera pans.

• Open area allows for good natural lighting.

• Beautiful scenery to make the shots more appealing to the audience.

RISK ASSESSMENT & HEALTH AND SAFTEY

TASKS: POSSIBLE RISK INVOLVED IN TASKS: ACTIONS TO PREVENT HARM TO HEALTH OR SAFETY:

Filming at library – ‘Convent of Jesus and Mary Language College’.

People may be trying to work or study and we might end up disrupting them.

Check to make sure when its empty or be carful not to make too much noise.

Filming underage (below 16) people. Being a school library there will be many under 16 year olds around.

Avoid filming younger people.

Filming by the lake in ‘Hammersmith park’.

Someone could accidentally drop equipment in the water and damage it.

Always take the proper precautions and hold equipment firmly.

Health of group members when filming(ex in cold weather, filming for extended

hours etc)

Cold weather could lead to people getting sick and extended hours could lead to walking home

in the dark which is dangerous.

Ensure that all group members are well at all times and manage the time of filming as to not extend to dark

hours.
