Detectives Part 1

Our Interesting Incursion

On the 3rd September we went to an incursion. It was a Drama workshop. We had it in the small hall.

First we were FBI Agents. It was cool. We had to go in Bazza’s body. First Doctor Fairlie shrunk us and we saw how unhealthy Bazza was. He only had junk food and fizzy drinks. He stays up all night playing video games. He goes to bed at 3am in the morning.

What we did next was get into suits that covered up all of our body. We had to wear the suits because we had to go inside Bazza’s body

When we got into Bazza’s body we come through the nose and visited the brain. When we got in the brain we saw the neurons. They were sending messages to Bazza telling him to do a dance.

Next there was the oxygen and they had to do a ballet dance. There was red blood cells that showed the oxygen around the body and there was white blood cell that killed the germs.

Then the stomach muscles and gastric acids churn the food around the body. We had to dress up as all the things that help your body work.

I was a white blood cell and a stomach muscle. After we did all the things in the body we came out through the human waste tunnel called the small intestine.

When we came out of the body Doctor Fairlie turned us back to normal size. What a wonderful incurison. I had a great time.

Drama Action

On the 3rd September 2/3D went to do some role play. It was half drama and half educational. Everyone had fun. Even the boys liked the oxygen ballet!

First we out on our suits. But sadly Miss Dickson wasn’t there. Bazza was! Miss Dickson had turned into Bazza! We were not a class we were FBI Agents.

My favourite part was being a stomach muscle. There was a lot of dancing and movement. The room was full of laughter and fun. It was great.

There was lots of things and I can tell you them – neuron conga, oxygen ballet, red blood cell wiggle, white blood cell karate and last but not least gastric dance.

Everyone was smiling and being sill (some a bit too silly). The best thing about it is everything. The worst thing about it is having to go back to class.

This incursion was one of the best I think. We even got costumes but not to keep. We put them on. Honestly some were a bit itchy. But it was fun so I forgot about it.

Drama Workshop

On Monday 3rd September 2/3D had a drama workshop. Dr. Fairlie was our guide. We were FBI Agents! Our mission was to help a friend of Fairlie, Bazza, to stop his habit of being unhealthy. (Miss Dickson was dressed up as Bazza).

Dr. Fairlie shrinked us with her shrinkinator. We then went into Bazza’s nostril to enter his body. Next, we looked at the body systems. We did this twice. There were costumes we needed to wear, acting to the class what the system would be like healthy and in Bazza’s unhealthy body.

I was a stomach muscle and gastric juices for the digestive system for the first act. For the second act I was a neuron in the brain.

After acting, we completed the mission by telling Bazza to stop his bad habits. We exited Bazza’s body by the bottom. That was disgusting!

We were still small so we were back to our normal size with Dr. Fairlie’s grow-inator.

Overall this incursion was very fun and I loved it!

Drama IncursionOn the 3rd September 2/3D had a Drama incursion. We were FBI Agents. Doctor Fairlie decided the best way to get in the patient’s body was up his nose. It was really disgusting! I got some snot in my hair.

Then we had a look at the neurons and the brain, the oxygen and the lungs, the blood cells and the heart and the gastric juices and digestive system.

After that we looked at how they work in a healthy body and a unhealthy body. We found out what was making Bazza sick and fixed it. But to fix it we had to crawl out of the rectum.

Isn’t the human body amazing!

On Monday the 3rd September 2012, 2/3D went to an incursion to learn about the human body.

There was neurons, oxygen, white and red blood cells, and the digestive system. Doctor Fairlie and the person’s body, Bazza, who played as a sick patient.

So Doctor Fairlie shrinked us and we went inside Bazza’s and put on the suits like the red and white blood cells. We did a dance and it was really fun.

Body Incursion

On Monday 2/3D went to a body incursion. First they met a doctor her name was Doctor Fairlie. She showed us the different parts of the human body.

First she showed us the brain and the neurons. The neurons go around the body and send messages from the brain to the body.

Next they got showed the lungs. Then she got people to dress up as a air bubble and the air bubbles had to dance like ballerinas. Everybody laughed, it was so funny.

Next she showed us the red blood cells and the white blood cells. The white blood cells help fight off all the germs and the red blood cells bring oxygen all over the body.

Next the stomach muscles and juices. She showed how they work. The muscles mix the food up and the juices churn it.

2/3D said it was so fun and cool.
