restrict only to Drawing and Painting.• You will be asked to challenge yourself to look

at the world through an artistic point of view.• Give yourself a chance to think about art

outside of the classroom.• Be excited about the possibilities of what art

can do for you now and in the future.

Grading• Focus – Was the work done in a timely manner paying

attention to deadlines, and in the correct format?• Elements – Does the work demonstrate the appropriate

use of elements and or principles of design to solve the problem that is established?

• Craftsmanship and Technique – Was the work done in a manner that demonstrates and understanding of how to properly utilize the tool or matter? How neat is the project?

• Creativity and Inventiveness – Is the project constructed in a way that is highly original and has unique solution?
