Dream Foundation Receives Support from Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s

Camp Nageela Midwest provides an exciting, enriching summer experience for Jewish youth.

Dream Foundation, a nonprofit that has granted the final dreams of more than 20,000 adults facing terminal illness, recently received support from Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s patrons throughout the United States as a beneficiary of the fifth annual Stars for Heroes fundraiser.

The Campaign● Launched in 2011 by parent company CKE

Restaurants, Inc., the campaign has raised over $3.5 million to support the U.S. military.

● By soliciting $1 donations from restaurant customers, the company provides valuable funding to organizations that support active-duty service members, veterans, and their families.

Beneficiaries● The 2015 Stars for

Heroes fundraiser benefited several national, regional, and local charities, including Dream Foundation’s Dreams for Veterans program.

Dreams for Veterans works with veterans’ advocates and hospice professionals to give back to the American military community.

● The program, which grants a diverse range of wishes for veterans, has helped families go on final vacations, arranged meetings with veterans’ personal heroes, and provided essentials such as appliances and mobility scooters.
