Possession with a Purpose: Challenge to Keep the Ball

•Try to get to the space behind the defender

•When needed find the support player and get open quickly to get the ball back

throughout the field • Four players and one ball• Switch on command

3 v 3 , 4 v 4, or 5 v 5

Coaching Points: • Free of restrictions•Points for team that can

penetrate the opponent and stop ball on endline• Use both feet, head up•Go from a crowded space

to an un-crowded space

Set – Up : •Create a grids for 3 v 3, 4 v 4, 5

v 5 throughout field •For fast play, place balls along

the perimeter, when a new ball is needed it can be entered into the game quicker.
