Winter is coming, that we can be sure of. Remember to pack clothes suitable for the upcoming season as well as checking your radiator, belts, and fluid levels be-fore starting on your trips. 2nd place money maker, Jays Transport Terry Simonson

1st place money raised Brian harrison-Maximum Training 2 years in a row for Brian to lead the run

The Saskatchewan Portion of “The World’s Largest Truck Convoy” to raise money for the Special Olympics was a success again this year. The truck that raised the most pledges was Maximum Driver Training with Brian Harrison raising the money and having the honor of leading the Convoy for the second year in a row.The second place in the convoy was Jays Transport driven by Terry Simonson from Regina. I should mention that Jays also had 9 trucks in the Convoy. Biggar Transport was second with 6 trucks.The Convoy was lead by the Saskatoon City Police and the second vehicle was the Highway Compliance. A Highway Compliance vehicle also pulled up the rear.We left Saskatoon with 24 Trucks and stopped in Chamberlain to pick up an-other 19 units. We then proceeded to the Turvey Centre in Regina for a Bar-b-que lunch provided by Peterbilt and they did an excellent job.Everyone had a good time and I heard a few drivers saying they should have worked harder to get more pledges and also this was their first year but they will definitely be here again next year.All in all it was a good day and the Special Olympics raised some valuable funds.
