Leaders from across Arizona recently celebrated the launch of new air service to Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Air Canada Rouge is now flying, with an Airbus A319, between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport.

This season’s schedule runs three times a week between Feb. 22 and May 28. But in a surprise announcement, Air Canada has already expanded next season’s service by beginning flights Sept. 6, 2018 and running them through May 2019.

This new service to Canada will provide a vital link for visitors and the international business community. This new route to Montreal brings the total number of cities served by nonstop flights from Phoenix to Canada to ten. The newest connection to Montreal also provides additional access to Air Canada’s global network.

The Phoenix Green Team invites you to a green bag lunch to talk about “Planning for Autonomous Vehicles—The Coming Revolution.”

The presentation will feature Eric Anderson, transportation director for the Maricopa Association of Governments. Anderson will talk about what the county is doing when it comes to the planning and research related to autonomous and connected vehicle technology. Guests will also learn about the social impacts of this new technology and the implications for the regional transportation system. Bring your lunch and earn TRIPLE diversity training credits under the city’s Equal Opportunity Plan as your attendance will count toward your departmental goals. Details:
