Success Story - Large UK Local AuthorityBusiness ChallengeThis large UK Local Authority has over 300 mobile workers in the community all with BlackBerry smartphones. Previously these workers had to get into the office to download all types of files onto a network computer to print them off for regulatory purposes. These files not only include letters, documents, and spreadsheets, but also photographs taken as part of their job.

Solution ProvidedDrivve | Print Mobility Manager was selected to enable the mobile workers to send documents and smartphone content directly from their BlackBerry handsets using the BlackBerry print app from Drivve. Once the user is validated, the documents together with the user credentials are passed to Equitrac for secure release at the device, as well as cost accounting.

The Local Authority is now providing access to other mobile workers who can email or upload their documents from any mobile devices, as well as laptops, from anywhere whether onsite or out in the community.

Success Story – Calcluth & SangsterBusiness ChallengeCalcluth & Sangster is one of the largest independent financial advisors and insurance brokers in Scotland. It employs a team of Financial Advisors who spend most of their time visiting clients. In order to comply with FSA (Financial Services Authority) regulations, various documents and forms are required to be completed and held in customer files back at the office. This typically involved many round trips to print off documents and take copies of personal identification.

Solution ProvidedDrivve | Print Mobility Manager was selected to enable the Financial Advisors to send documents directly to office MFPs from their smartphones and laptops, without having to visit the office.

The Financial Advisors also found an innovative way to reduce the complexity of copying customer IDs, but taking photos with their smartphone cameras then emailing the photos to be printed out in the Office.

Finally, Calcluth & Sangster also use Drivve | Print to provide guest access to their MFPs for clients who visit their office, thereby eliminating any potential security breaches and providing a value add service to their clients.
