This software has beendeveloped as a flexible working tool to make pressurecalibrations quicker, easier and more accurate. The softwarecalculates which weights are required to generate a specificpressure. The program can also calculate the actual pressurefor a piston and selected weight masses. The software willwork in an unlimited number of pressure units, regardless ofthe pressure unit the Deadweight Tester has beenmanufactured to. Details of multiple Deadweight Testerscan be stored. The software also generates calibrationcertificates which can be both stored or printed.

Motor DriveIf a continuous pressure is required, a motor drive can beprovided to rotate the weights. Rotating the weights byhand is satisfactory for standard calibrations.

The motor is isolated from the Deadweight Tester by athermal barrier, preventing warming of the measuringpiston. The motor is suitable for 210/250, 105/125 volts at50/60 HZ, please specify requirement at time of order.

Not available on models M2800, M2820.

These test pumps are used for checking pressure measuring instruments against master test gauges or transducers. All areportable or can be bench mounted. Supplied with NPT quick hand-tight sealing gauge adaptors.

Liquid

This is the most portable and versatile version of our comparison testpumps. The units are based on our standard Deadweight Tester system.The piston and weights are replaced by a second test station to whicheither a test gauge, transducer or transfer standard is connected forcomparison against the instrument under test. A built-in hand pump issupplied offering the following benefits:

Large volume systems are easily primed.A small bore high pressure ram screw is provided offering quick and effortless pressure generation without additional valve operation.

For high pressure pneumatic calibration, this unit interfaces with hydraulic deadweight testers, giving a rateless liquidto air separation. A series of fluid traps ensures the instrument under test remains dry.Needle valves control the pressure, and thedeadweight tester ram screw controls the fluid level.Please specify if interface is for oil or water application.

Liquid toLiquidThis unit has a flexible"Viton" diaphragm,separating the deadweighttester fluid and a noncontaminating liquid. Anyliquid can be used that iscompatible with "Viton" andaluminium bronze. The unitalso protects the deadweighttester from contamination.

Dirt/MoistureTrapProtects pneumatic DeadweightTesters, when the cleanliness ofthe instrument under test cannotbe guaranteed. The unit ismounted directly onto the teststation. Particles and moisture aretrapped within the body, whichare visible on Model T4400.

Two Gaugeadaptor

To calibrate twoinstruments at thesame time. Thisadaptor is mounteddirectly onto the teststation.

Angleadaptor

To calibrate backconnection gauges,the angle adaptorfits directly onto thetest station, convertingit through 90°, allowingthe same adaptors to beused.

Two deadweight tester systems are built into a single instrument with a cross- connecting valve. The twosystems are pressurized in parallel with the cross-connecting valve open until both pistons and weights arefloating at the specific line pressure. With the cross connecting valve closed the differential pressure isgenerated by each additional weight loaded to the measuring piston. The balance piston remains floating,ensuring that the line pressure is maintained.
