Drug Allergy, Asthma and Allergic Rhinitis: A CME Event

4) Recognize alleric rhinitis and summarizeavailable evidence-based treatment options.

Shyam Joshi, MD

Dr. Shyam Joshi is a board certified allergist and immunologist at Oregon Health and Science University. He attended Duke University where he earned his bachelors in Biomedical Engineering and then returned to his home state of Kentucky to complete his medical training at the University of Louisville. Subsequently, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Brown University and fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX.

Trained in both pediatric and adult allergic and immunologic diseases, his clinical interests include drug allergy, food allergy, and primary immunodeficiency. He also has an interest in improving healthcare delivery through operational efficiency and public health policies.
