Reflector: less is moreThe unique geometry of the DSX reflector is con-vincing: folded eight times, ten reflection surfa-ces are created. These surfaces divert the infrared energy purposefully into the area to be heated. The DSX-reflectors are made of high quality alu-minum. The material offers optimal properties: it is dimensionally stable, reflects the radiation perfectly without significant radiation upwards and is permanently functional.

The design of the U-radiator with two individual reflectors ensures the best radiation yield.
Due to the small distance between the radiant tube and the reflector convection losses are re-duced and the radiation efficiency is increased. Thanks to unique geometry and perfect choice of materials, no insulation of the reflector is needed. Firmly anchored turbulators provide maximum heat transfer performance.

Exceeds even the Ecodesign Directive The current Ecodesign Directive (ErP Directive) sets the minimum values for the so-called „Seasonal Efficiency“.
There are invariably tube heaters listed that meet the requirements for the European market access.
With 94 % Seasonal Efficiency, the DSX not only exceeds the minimum requirements, but even exceeds the benchmark values of the Ecodesign Directive.

Optimum gas-air mixture According to the current ErP Directive, tube heaters are operated to 85 % in partial load.
With reduced power consumption the need for combustion air is also reduced. Therefore, the DSX works with a combustion air adjustment: gas and air are perfectly mixed, depending on the operating level.
Thus, the tube heater always works with maxi-mum efficiency and achieves high efficiencies.
Modulating for more convenienceThe DSX is exclusively designed for modulating operation. The modulation is done electronically by adjusting the gas volume flow. Thus, the temperature level remains pleasantly constant and provides more cosiness and convenience.
Sensible use of exhaust heat The DSX is equipped as standard with an air exhaust system (LAS). That means, the heat of the exhaust gases is used to preheat the cooler combustion air. Due to the clam shell pipe only a roof or wall penetration is required.
The LAS design increases the efficiency and thus the efficiency of the tube heater. The reduced energy consumption has a positive effect on the EnEV assessment and the energy costs. And not to neglect: our environment also benefits from this resource-saving operation.
