Theatre Orchard, Invisible Circus and the Coasters Touring Network join forces to fill Weston-super-Mare’s Italian Gardens with a Bellissimo line up of circus thrills and spills. A smorgasboard of international talent topped and tailed by one of Europe’s favourite circus troupes Le Cirque du Platzak. The revelry includes Australia’s strongest woman, Dizzy O Dare’s giant balloon show, the Strollercoaster experience from the egg theatre and Bureau of Silly Ideas, Miss Inform (the alternative tourist guide), Salon of Wonders, Colour-in Caravan, plus much much more... a carnival of chaos, colour and gastronomic delight! All events are FREE OF CHARGE. Please note that seating is on the floor for Le Cirque du Platzak’s show, but you are welcome to bring camping chairs. KERMIZ Le Cirque du Platzak A guy with a fascination for lawnmowers and heads of leuce, a temperamental Italian aerialist fighting with a Spanish toreador, a trumpeter on a slack rope, and a German acrobat with a fascination for staplers. These are just some of the eccentric characters from the twelve-man collective Le Cirque du Platzak. Le Cirque du Platzak mixes rough folk music with (traditional and innovative) circus techniques, such as balance, acrobatics, fire, balls and self-made clubs, rope, rolling globe, cloud-swing, aerial plastique, bole balance, acro-dance, fakirism and clowning arts. Since its creation in 2011, Le Cirque du Platzak has played to more than 60,000 people across Europe.
