OPTIONAL BORG WARNER 4X4

The Steed Dual Cab 4x4 is designed to handle the toughest conditions, with its strong construction and ladder frame chassis. It’s also a proven performer off road, where its optional diesel engine, six-speed transmission, low range 4x4 gearing, 171 mm ground clearance, generous approach and departure angles and BorgWarner torque on demand transfer case combine seamlessly to take the Steed off the beaten path.

FULL LOADED

Every Dual Cab comes fully loaded with side steps, climate control air con, bed liner, sports bar, reverse parking sensors, heated front seats, and an electric driver’s seat. You’ll also get auto headlights and wipers and for safety – front, side and curtain airbags, Bosch ESP, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and rear ISOFIX points.

PAYLOAD

A one tonne payload*, a huge cargo area and the Dual Cab has approach and departure angles of 25° and 21° respectively. *Payload is defined as the Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) minus the Kerb Mass. Payload is the maximum combined weight of occupants, cargo, added structures and tow ball down weight (when towing). GVM must not be exceeded.

CHOICE OF PETROL OR DIESEL

The 2.4-litre petrol engine uses Delphi electronic ignition to deliver smooth performance. Delivering 100 kW and 205 Nm, the petrol engine Great Wall Steed is available in 4x2 and matched to a five-speed manual.

The 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine is characterized by high efficiency, low fuel consumption and excellent performance. With 110 kW of power and a user-friendly 310 Nm or torque on tap, this engine is matched to a smooth-shifting six-speed manual.
