Introduction
Drifting is a relatively new motorsport but is one of the fastest growing in Europe. The combination of more sophisticated cars with higher horsepower and drift events that take the form of full weekends of multi – motorsport entertainment are leading to a huge rise in the popularity of the sport.
In 2009 Duane burst onto the drift scene capturing the public imagination with his natural skill on track and considerable maturity when interacting with the public.
His story is already the stuff of legends as his car was won by his Uncle with a lucky raffle ticket and then given to Duane who immediately showed great potential. Mentored by well known drivers Alan 'Chubby' McCord and Paul Conlon, Duane improves every time he goes out on track, and is regularly winning trophies over drivers with much more experience.
In 2011 Duane plans to focus his attention on the prestigious ProDrift series. To help him gain further success this year Duane is currently in search of sponsors. He has gained substantial media coverage in the past and he and his team will work to ensure this continues in 2011.
This drivers profile gives you all the important information on Duane, his achievements to date and his plans for the future.
