Düsseldorf is the capital city of the German Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia and one of the economic centers of Germany. Düsseldorf is located at the confluence of the Düssel and Rhine Rivers. Home to 575,000 people, Düsseldorf extends along both banks of the world-famous Rhine River. Walk along the Rhine, and then go exploring in the Altstadt (Old City), with its narrow, winding cobblestone streets and numerous shops, churches, restaurants, and bars. The Altstadt, which plays host to thousands of locals and tourists who flock to the "world's biggest bar", as there are more than 260 bars, restaurants and nightclubs that line the cobbled streets. The local beer is a dark malty brew called Altbier or simply “Alt”. It is served in tiny 1/4 pint glasses. If upscale shopping interests you, don't miss the fashionable Königsallee (also known simply as the "Kö").

SOLLICH: HALL 3, B07

Sollich’s long time commitment to research and development played an important role in this year’s exhibits highlighting new innovations and core product enhancements. One example is their new type TE tempering machine with automatic Tempergraph ensuring optimum tempering and continuous quality control throughout production. Also on display will be Sollich’s Turbotemper TT Flex paired with a cleaning device making this an efficient versatile machine with flexible tempering capacity for multiple applications; a general trend in the market today.

As the largest manufacturer of chocolate enrobing lines, Sollich will exhibit multiple enrobers with working widths between 320 and 1600 mm. Their flagship – the Enromat M6 – boosts numerous updates born from a broad range of experience in manufacturing hundreds of machines over the years. Sollich understands and has integrated the ever-changing requirements of customers worldwide. Alongside

the Enromat M6 will be the basic model B6 and Temperstatic T6 with built-in tempering. Many new features have been added to improve process reliability and quality control.

Also on display will be Sollich’s successful and well received Reworktemper type RWT 125 and RWT 250/400. The machines have been updated to facilitate optimal processing of rework masses in combination with depositing systems. The Conbar® forming line will be exhibited in two different executions – one for cereal and one for candy bars. A range of Thermoflow® cooling tunnels with PU and stainless steel covers will be on display with forming and enrobing lines.

A variety of forming machines will complete the exhibit including the KGM depositor, Cluster Former CF and newly developed Sollformat KP. Sollich will also highlight advances in sanitary design, hygienic processing and improved energy savings.

DUMOULIN: HALL 1, B17

Dumoulin is a worldwide leader in automatic coating and exhibits will include confectionery equipment for both large and small production.

The IDA 3002CV is the largest and fastest automatic chocolate equipment available in the industry today and allows for coating, polishing and varnishing in the same batch. Nominal output is 3 tons of finished product per batch every 2 to 3 hours.

The IDA 3002X is the largest and fastest equipment for sugar and sugar-free coating. The machine has a perforated coating drum which reduces total processing time. Nominal output is 3 tons per batch every 4 to 6 hours.

Also on display will be the LogiC, the smallest automatic machine with a 250kg per batch capacity.

All Dumoulin equipment is designed with the lowest product bed depth of any comparable machine. This is very important because it is gentle on difficult and delicate centers, increases the amount of surface area in contact with freshly conditioned air which reduces processing time allows the coating to be distributed very quickly and evenly over all centers.

Dumoulin also supplies equipment to the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical & seed industries.

Sollich North America represents a select group of equipment manufacturers - Sollich, Chocotech, and Dumoulin.

With a wide range of equipment available we can provide for all major applications within the chocolate, confectionery, gum, snack and bakery industries. Specific systems include enrobing, tempering, cooling, bar forming, chocolate and sugar panning, as well as candy kitchens for the production of caramel, fondant, jelly, aerated and fruit masses, hard candy, binders, and more.
