The Patient:59 year old female wearing soft multifocal lenses for the past 6 years.
Chief Complaints: Poor distance vision and trouble reading fine print led the patient to consider discontinuing contact lenses altogether.
“Not only was the comfort of Duette Progressive as good as her soft lenses, but the vision was better than any lens we’d tried in the past.”

CASE HISTORY
PATIENT OUTCOMES
“I’ve been seeing this patient for over 10 years and have tried a number of multifocal
lenses. The most successful we tried was the B&L Soflens Multifocal, but the patient
was beginning to struggle with vision at all distances. I decided to try Duette Progressive
and ordered the first pair of lenses empirically. The first pair of lenses was incredibly
accurate and the only change needed was a steeper skirt to improve centration. When
we dispensed the second set of lenses, they took about 10 minutes to settle. Once
they settled, not only was the comfort as good as her soft lenses, but the vision was
better than any lens we’d tried in the past.”
