DUFF’S CAKEMIX PARTY PLANNING GUIDE & AGREEMENT

Thank you for inquiring about hosting a party with us! We know that you have better things to do with your time than play the role of Party Planner Extraordinaire, so our goal is to make your experience as seamless as

possible. Please take a moment to read through the following info. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call or stop by. We look forward to celebrating with you!

PARTY PACKAGES INCLUDE

• Two hours (versus one hour for typical reservations)

• Each guest receives one kit • We offer two flavors: chocolate or confetti (vanilla with rainbow sprinkles baked inside); cupcake kits come with 3 confetti & 3 chocolate cupcakes • Complete decorating kit for each guest includes: buttercream, fondant, and goodies

• Guidance from our expert decorating staff • Access to tools, aprons, gloves, cookie cutters, stencils, and molds

• Celebration cake to cut & serve (size based on tier, ask us about decorative upgrades), see pg. 3 • One beverage per guest (in-store and private events only) • One Duff’s Cakemix apron for the guest of honor • Side table for food and/or gifts (1.5 ft. x 4 ft.) 4. TIER SIZE, HEADCOUNT & RULES

General Rules • Each guest is required to have their own kit. Unfortunately we cannot allow sharing for party packages. • Packages do not include food, outside food is allowed (except cakes/cupcakes) • Off Hours pricing options available upon request

Tier Size & Headcount Tables and chairs for your party size will be reserved based on your Party Tier. We can only guarantee seating for the number of people decorating (in-store and private events only). We do not provide tables and chairs for off-site events. If you wish to upsize your party to a higher tier, please provide as much advance notice as possible. We cannot guarantee space/product availability. We do not need to know your final headcount as long as you stay within your Party Tier’s size limit. All Party Tier changes after booking must be requested in writing via email to [email protected]

Final Kit Count (off-site event only) We need to know your final kit count 7 days before your event.

Standing Guests (in-store and private events only) Our occupancy is limited by code and the number of seats available in our studio. We have very limited room available for people beyond those accounted for in our party sizes. As such, we kindly request you keep standing guests to a bare minimum. If you expect to have more than 2-3 standing guests, we kindly encourage you to consider buying an additional table for $250 or upgrade to one of our private party options. For private parties the maximum number of guests is 60, including seated guests and standing chaperones.

Food & Beverage (in-store and private events only) • You are welcome to bring items not sold in our shop. We do not allow any outside cakes or cupcakes. • Alcohol is permitted for private buyouts only. • A side table (1.5’ x 4’) is included in your package. If you would like additional space for non-decorating guests or food, you may rent one of our decorating tables (3’ X 6’) for $250, based upon availability.

Food Allergies Product offered in our studio has been manufactured in the same facility as other processed items containing both tree nuts and peanuts.

Decorations Feel free to bring and setup your own decorations, streamers, balloons, etc. Our staff is always willing to lend a hand, but we cannot guarantee they will be available. You may arrive 15 minutes prior to your reservation for setup, but please understand we may still be cleaning your party space. Since the space is shared, please be mindful of other guests when considering additional decorations, as space is limited. We ask that you please keep table tops clear for the decorating activity.

Outside Entertainment Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any outside entertainment (ex. face painters, magicians, characters), unless hosting a Private Event.

Time We kindly ask you and your guests to arrive on time, as we promptly begin parties at their start time, and cannot allow parties to extend beyond their scheduled end time. For off-site events, we add 30 minutes of setup before event start time and 30 minutes of cleanup after event end time.

Age Restrictions Guests under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Children 6 and younger must be assisted at a ratio of at least one adult for every three children. Seats are provided based on the party tier size at booking, and does not guarantee a seat for adults who are assisting children 6 years old and younger (in-store and private events only).

Behavior All guests are required to behave in a responsible and respectful manner. Running in the studio is not allowed. Our staff reserves the right to terminate your session without refund if any behavior is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.

Property Damage By signing this agreement, you agree that any damages or extraordinary cleaning charges incurred by Duff’s Cakemix will be charged to the credit card on file.

If you need to cancel your party for any reason, we kindly request you do so a minimum of 12 days prior to your event date. Cancellations with less than 12 days' notice will be charged a $25 cancellation fee per guest based on the minimum number of guests in the party tier size chosen at booking. Cancellations must be emailed to [email protected]. Payment In-store and private events only: You may use a different form of payment (Visa, Amex, Mastercard, Discover or Cash) at the conclusion of your reservation (checks not accepted). We can split your final bill into a maximum of two forms of payment. Duff’s Cakemix will not charge the card provided unless payment is not made at the conclusion of the party/reservation or if the cancellation policy is violated.

Off-site event only: We will charge the card provided above at the conclusion of the party/reservation or if the cancellation policy is violated.
