Pwent awoke from his grave to learn that he’d been turned intoa vampire and now hears a voice in his head, urging him to kill. Drizzt calls the greatblack panther Guenhwyvar to his side as he and Dahlia finally reach Pwent. The“voice” is revealed to be the ghost of Dor’crae, who kills a girl working under hiscommand —thus erasing the only clue to his location. Undeterred, Drizzt, Dahlia,
