Sunday, December 8th – DUNKXCHANGE, created by Gary Hughes, will be in Denver for

a sneaker exchange event on Sunday, December 8th at the Exdo Event Center (1399

35th Street). The idea for a sneaker exchange event came to Hughes in 2005 when he

purchased three pairs of sneakers from China that were ultimately fake. On a quest to

stop this from happening to himself, and others looking for real dunks, Hughes has

now helped coordinate over 200 DUNKXCHANGE events in eight years.

The event has also evolved from just exchanging sneakers. The DUNKXCHANGE events

now feature Art, Hip-Hop Music, and Fashion/Streetwear. Each community that hosts a

DUNKXCHANGE event, has a chance of exposing their unique talents. Vendor spaces

cost only 100 dollars for 100 square feet of space (10 x 10), and includes the table,

table cloth, two chairs, and three event tickets. This is a great way to expose some

Colorado local companies. Owner, Gary Hughes, hopes to expand this event globally,

in the effort to connect communities through fashion, art, and music. Join the
