VOL XXIX ISSUE 4 APR 2015 - ROGUE AREA SENIOR COMPUTER ASSISTANCE LEAGUE NEWSLETTER
www.rascal.cc
The first article is about an experience I had with Amazon and some interesting
thing I learned about it after the fact. The next group contains different subjects
on many topics about the computer world. The last group on the following pag-
es will overload you with WIN 10 information. It will show you how to down-
load the preview version for free and describe many of the latest versions fea-
tures. If you currently have Win 7 or Win 8, it looks like you will be able to up-
grade to Win 10 for free, at least during the first year.
A note about my preview experience. The latest 9926 update had some serious
bugs and caused my Dell to have a blank screen when booting requiring me to
backup one level.
Amazing Amazon!

I don’t usually shop online but recently I had a problem with the blower on my
wood insert. Orleys does not supply parts for it so I went to Google. My search
ended up on Amazon where I found a tip about how to find the original manu-
facturer’s part number for the blower. I didn’t know Amazon had Tips. I then
did another Google search and I again ended up at Amazon who had the exact
part I needed and the part had a price just over the requirement for free 2 or 3
day shipping.
The interesting part of this story is that on same day I received an email about
the complex working behind the scenes at Amazon’s warehouses. It was so
interesting, I thought I should share it with you. There are two parts to the
email. One is on our web site and the other is a video. The links are below.

Note: If you have a problem with either of these websites (I did not), send me
an email and I will send it to you in a reply.
