DWELLING HOUSE

1.Who will not have a dwelling house?

One will not have a dwelling house either owned or rented if the lord of 4thhouse is in 8.

(Personal view-This appears as if the statement is true for whole life of the native, who shall take shelter on the foot path, under trees or in common places. It could be also that the house-lessness shall be during the dasa period of the lord of 4. On the other hand it can be said the native shall suffer so during the dasa period of the lord of 4. If we bring in KP, if the sub lord of the lord of 4 does not signify either/or 4 or 10 but signifies 8.)

2.The native resides in only one house permanently if:

a) Fourth cusp falls in a Fixed Sign.

b) Lord of 4 is posited in a Fixed Sign.

c) Mars occupies a Fixed Sign. This could be during period of Mars.

This clause implies that the native is a land lord or Jamindar like person and shall have own houses. If the 4thcusp falls in Fixed Sign but its lord is in a Movable Sign the person will change his quarters during its period. If Mars is in Movable Sign during its period one has to change his residence.

3.One can own a house if Moon is in Cancer or Virgo in a favorable constellation and sub. If the sign, Star and sub lord of Moon are favorable, one shall own a house in which ever sign he is born. These people live in their own houses.

4.The lord of the 4thcusp does not allow the native to shift from present residence if it occupies a Fixed Sign, even if the cusp falls in a Fixed Sign. So the lord of 4 is more important than the cusp.

5.Who will dwell in others houses?

If the lord of 4 is in 12, the native will reside in a house of other people.

(Personal view-Similar to No. 1 above, the native shall reside in some others house during dasa period of lord of house. If the sub lord of lord of 4 signifies 12 that native has to dwell in others house. If the sub lord does not signify 4 but 10 and 12, during dasa period of the significators of 4 he shall be in others houses.)

6.The native shall change residence if:

a) 4th cusp falls in a Movable Sign.

b) Lord of 4thcusp is posited in a Movable sign.

c) Mars occupies a Movable Sign. This could be during period of Mars.

During the period of the occupants of 4thBhava the native changes his residence.

7.The native resides in house of his uncle or cousin if the lord of the 4thhouse occupies 6. The in-thought explained in No. 1 and No. 2 may be relevant in this clause.
