E-bridge has a message
As the authors o e-bridge program, we would like to participate in an European mission being increase
in the possibility to make use o the occupational mobility o the Europeans. We are aware that the great-
est initiative in this respect is shown by young people (up to 25 years old) and people more than 65 years
old. The challenges involved with the labor market make us adapt to it in a more aster and lexible way.
E-bridge project supports proessional, geographical and educational mobility.
We support people who change the place o residence or the purpose o searching or a dierent workplace, cul-tural area or possibility o additional education. We ocus on collecting any, necessary or all mobile Europeans, le-gal, administrative inormation and this related to the everyday lie, so that each o you would have least problemswith adaptation to a new cultural environment. Apart rom a complex guide describing principles o movement ina particular country, as well as principles prevailing on the European labor market, we oer you language coursesthat, apart rom issues related to education, will contain also data related to culture and customs o a given country.Didactic materials will be available in three languages: German, English and Spanish. Material will be translated into 4languages (Bulgarian, Polish, Romanian, Slovakian). The course prepares or communication in a given language withregard to the most important aspects o daily lie.
The reason why the project E-Bridge to mobility wascreated came mainly rom observing the EU labourmarket and analysis o the needs o Eastern Europeemigrants (especially those rom Bulgaria, Poland,Romania and Slovakia). They are moving rom one EUcountry to another (especially to England, Germany,Spain) or educational, nancial or social reasons.
This project has been unded with support rom theEuropean Commission. This publication refects theviews only o the author, and the Commission cannot beheld responsible or any use which may be made o theinormation contained therein.

THAT IS HOW IT BEGAN
A common vision and development o
the project results in the act that we, as
partners, must cooperate closely when
developing all its products. Our meet-
ing in March 2009 was an excellent op-
portunity to get to know co-partners
and become amiliar with the range o activities o each o them. We met in the
seat o the Higher School o Computer
Science, Management and Administra-
tion in Warsaw. One o more important
aspects o our meeting was rethinking
o the most eective methods o di-
using and promoting the project. To
reach the possibly broadest group or
which the project is intended, we had
to determine the target precisely.
Representatives o each partner pre-
sented scope o operations o our
units. Then a true brainstorm began.
We reached a conclusion that each
oreigner, apart rom problems with
knowledge o oreign languages, is
looking or a very important inor-
mation concerning culture o a given
country. An attempt to ind one’seet in a new, moreover international
environment, creates or most o us
a barrier which even beore a depar-
ture should be broken to the possibly
greatest extent.
During the discussion a ollowing ques-
tion has arisen: How to reach our target
public, which truly needs support with
regard to the occupational and lie
mobility. We have stated that we will
contact institutions, such as employ-
ment agencies, institutions mediating
in search or jobs that have a possibil-
ity to spread inormation among peo-
ple to whom the project is addressed.
We have decided that the course will
be available only on-line, moreover, it
is necessary to prepare computer sot-
ware that will make it possible to usecourse elements by means o dierent
models o mobile phones. This gives a
huge comort to students who need to
use course elements in an unexpected
lie situation.
Our meeting has resulted in a common
vision o the project and has been a ac-
tor motivating to a mutual support in
any activities, so that e-bridge recipients
would be satised and could make their
dreams o proessional and lie mobility
come true.
