SCHEDULE CHANGE: Formation of classes depends on sufficient enrollment. Community Education reserves the right to revise class schedules if needed. The information in this publication is based on conditions at printing and is subject to change.
CEUs: The Continuing Education Unit is credit offered for vocationally related courses. One credit is given for every 10 hours of instruction. Courses earning CEU credits are com-puter, child care, health care and technical classes.
BOOKS AND SUPPLIES: Costs are included in the regis-tration fees unless otherwise specified. Books are available in the Community Education Office at the first class.
FACILITIES: Classes are held at Northwest Technical School unless specified otherwise in the course description.
ENROLLMENT: Anyone may enroll in classes. Classes ar-ranged for younger people will indicate an acceptable age range in the course description.
CANCELLATION DUE TO WEATHER: Whenever classes in the public schools are cancelled due to weather, Commu-nity Education classes are also cancelled. All cancellations are announced on KNIM AM 1580 or FM 97.1 radio. Or dial 660-582-8311 and wait for the message on the answering ma-chine.
REFUNDS: A full refund or credit will be made if (1) Com-munity Education cancels a class, (2) a class is full at the time your registration is received, or (3) a refund is requested 24 hours before the first class is held. NO refunds will be given after a class meets. Refunds may require four to six weeks to process.

Would you like to be able to make your own cleaning products for pennies? Join me to learn how to make them from natural based, less toxic products that you have in your own home. Participants will receive a Healthy Homes publication from the National Center for Healthy Housing as well as a recipe booklet for making your own green cleaning products. Each participant will also make and take an all-purpose cleaner.

Aging in Place - 15FPEAIPIf you are looking for answers as to how to age in place as abilities change, this con-
cept may be of interest to you. For many, their homes will not allow them to age in place without making some expensive changes. For others, they are looking to retrofit their home or to relocate to a neighborhood that will allow them to be more accessible to services they will need. That is where universal design or the “aging in place” concept comes into focus. Its features are for everyone…it truly is housing for a lifetime.

help you get familiar with the four subtests, learn some tricks for each section, and help you to feel more at ease and prepared to take on the challenge of the test. We will also cover tips for the writing portion, as well as the ACT rubric for scoring. We can certify and Title your dog, mixed breed or pure, with Canine Good Citizen, Community Canine Advanced or STARS Puppy Program (An additional fee applies.) sive driving techniques, handling hazardous and normal driving situations and the new traffic laws and rules of the road. Students participating in this 4-hour class, taught in one session (with breaks), will learn to compensate for the physical and mental changes that occur with aging.
