Bloomfield Baptist Family:

I will faithfully participate with this Church in worship, prayer,

Bible study, fellowship, service, giving, and the ordinances of

baptism and the Lord’s Supper. I will serve the other members

of this body in love by praying for them, helping them in sickness

and distress, promoting their spiritual growth, protecting them

from sin, and encouraging them to love and to good deeds. I

will flee gossip and divisive words, knowing that they dishonor

God and destroy Christian fellowship. (A section from the Mem-

bership Covenant of Bloomfield Baptist Church)

As members of this church body, we share a commitment to

“faithfully participate with this Church”. That participation in-

cludes praying for one another, encouraging one another and

gathering together to fellowship with one another.

Please make plans to gather with our church family for our next

Members Meeting on Sunday, November 22nd

at 6:00pm.

This month’s Member’s Meeting will include a Thanksgiving

Fellowship, so please bring your favorite side or dessert to

share with others! The pastors are preparing turkey and ham.

We will gather to discuss church business first and then we will

enjoy some good food together.

During our Members Meeting we will address membership

(additions, letter requests and removals), pray for our church

and hear about upcoming events and outreach opportunities. I

hope that every member of our church will take this opportunity

to come and gather with our church family to be encouraged

about the work the Lord is doing at Bloomfield Baptist!

Reaching Bloomfield with You, Pastor Richard

Sunday, November 8 Sermon Text: Acts 21:1-14

We have started preparing for the Christmas Musical, if you are interested in joining the choir please contact Pastor Matt. We are looking for some instrumental-ists for the Christmas Musical. Do you

play any of the following: Oboe, Trombone, Tuba, Harp, Viola, Cello, Bassoon, Violin, Clarinet, Soprano Sax, Alto Sax, Bass Clarinet, Alto Sax, Baritone, Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax, if so, please see Pastor Matt.

“Thanksgiving Offering”

This year, we are asking everyone who is a part of Bloomfield Baptist Church to prayerfully give a special offering this Sun-day. Our prayer is that this "Thanksgiving Offering" will significantly reduce the re-maining balance on our Building Loan

“Thanksgiving Offering” envelopes are located at the entrances of the sanctuary & windows sills or you can just add it to your tithe check. Be sure to note the “Offering” amount in the memo section on your check. Thanks

What Not To Wear - Our attitudes should reflect Christ Devotion: What one needs to not have in their ward-robe in their walk with Christ. Activity: Jewelry swap! Bring a piece of jewelry from your stash you would like to swap. Place it in a seal

bag and we will have a swap game. Also bring a scarf and we will learn to tie them in different ways. Sign-up at Welcome desk to bring an appetizer, see Marilyn Walker for more info.
